This project involves an upper-level infill renovation on a narrow lot in Bristol, Rhode Island, with a 20-foot wide by 50-foot deep footprint. The previous layout of connected rooms was reimagined into an elongated single volume. The dining room was replaced by a long kitchen island for dining, and the living room was positioned at the west end of the plan for town views. A small pantry and outdoor deck garden were also integrated as a part of the renovation.

A large skylight above the kitchen brings in natural light. White oak millwork lines the perimeter, and cedar ceilings create a warm interior material palette. This design transforms the upper level into a bright, open, and inviting entertaining space.
